Love, Love again, No matter, Love better.. (thank you Beckett)
Love, Love again, No matter, Love better.. (thank you Beckett) Collected examples of how to bring a space alive, how to fill it with memory ? Jurgen Bey View of the cloak-cloud formed by bronze cupido?s at the entrance The back of the seat framing a tablecloth depicting a table scene about marriage View from the back of the room, with miscalleneous seats and lights A seat for an imaginary aunt A sitting corner for a tired grandfather Setting for the next wedded-to-be

A Studio Jurgen Bey project in collaboration with Sophie Krier.

A wedding room that wants to convey a sense of intimacy and conviviality, independently of how many guests take part in the ceremony.

The visitors are greeted at the entrance of the wedding room by a cloud of love-shooting angels (the angels can carry up to 25 coats). A girl on a curtain waves shyly (in the direction of the altar). Showcases depict selected artefacts from the sphere of seduction. Benches in various sizes invite guests to sit ad hoc next to each other throughout the space. The painting reproductions alongside all the walls form a life-size backdrop for objects placed before them. The fictive characters in the paintings mingle with the guests in an intimate celebration of the moment.
